    Business Network Installation

A business network is more than a router out of the box. We configure the firewall, switches, and IP addressing so your network is segmented, secure, and predictable instead of a flat, wide-open mess anyone on the guest Wi-Fi can poke around in.

    Who this is for

    • New businesses setting up their first real network instead of a consumer router
    • Companies replacing an ISP-supplied gateway with a proper business firewall
    • Businesses that need to separate guest Wi-Fi, point-of-sale, and internal traffic
    • Offices that need secure remote access for staff working from home or another site

    What's included

    Firewall & router setup

Business-grade firewall configured with rules that match how your business actually uses the network.

    Managed switch configuration

Switches set up with VLANs, port assignments, and traffic priorities instead of left on factory defaults.

    VLAN segmentation

Separate networks for staff, guests, cameras, and point-of-sale so a problem on one doesn't touch the others.

    DHCP & static IP planning

Address ranges and reservations set up so devices get consistent, conflict-free IPs.

    ISP handoff

Coordination with your internet provider on the demarc and handoff so the new equipment goes live cleanly.

    Remote access setup

Secure VPN or remote access configured for staff or IT who need to reach the network from offsite.

    Common use cases

    • Replacing a consumer router with a real business firewall and switch
    • Separating point-of-sale traffic from staff and guest Wi-Fi for PCI compliance
    • Setting up VLANs to keep cameras and IoT devices off the main business network
    • Adding secure remote access for a hybrid or multi-location team
    • Fixing a network that's been layered with band-aid fixes for years

    Our project process

    1. Assess & design

We review how your business uses the network today and design segmentation and addressing around it.

    2. Configure offsite

Where possible, we pre-configure firewalls and switches before bringing them onsite to cut downtime.

    3. Install & cut over

Equipment is installed and traffic is cut over, usually scheduled outside business hours.

    4. Test & document

We verify every VLAN, device, and remote connection works, then hand over documentation of the setup.
